How to Jailbreak the iPad?

As we all know, a jailbroken iPad can run all kinds of third-party apps far beyond the selection in Apple's App Store. Step 1: Backup your iPad in iTunes first. Should anything go wrong or if you hate the jailbreak, you’ll at least have something to go back to. You can restore your data from here if needed.

Step 2: Download Spirit to jailbreak the iPad. Note that the jailbreak process depends highly on your version of iTunes and iOS. Then connect your iPad directly to your computer and run Spirit. The process will modify and restart the iPad and you may just leave everything alone until the process is complete.

Step 3: Click the "Jailbreak" button to jailbreak the iPad as follows.

Once your iPad resets, verify your iPad is jailbroken by looking for the Cydia application. From the Cydia application, you have access to all the unapproved, third-party applications.
